who are we?
break pop records is a seattle area independent record label.
it's also a sound collective / online community.
we hate mainstream music. we don't have to listen to it, buy
it, think about it, or care. WE make the music we listen to...
we urge you to do the same. breakpop is an ethic.

what do we do?
we do the same any record label does, only for cheaper.
we try to find and develop local and underground artists,
and we try to release and promote music!

what do we sound like?
chopped up breaks, movie soundscapes, life.
our musicians come from a variety of musical backgrounds,
some traditional, some based only around modern electronics.
jungle/ idm/ breakcore/ noise is how we do.

how long have you been doing this? How many releases?
Breakpop was founded officially in 2005, with our first release/compilation [BP001]
it's now 2010, and Breakpop has 20 records released (with more on the way!)-
all freely available for download on our website and soulseek.


Where do we come from?
we are an internet-based record label, based out of the Pacific Northwest.
We are dedidicated to the next generation of Breakbeat Hardcore, bringing
you fresh new artists from the united states and around the globe.
